Q + A

What should I wear?

Please find our mood board for each event here: https://pin.it/3bF7WHwCs

Which airport should I fly into?

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD)

Which hotel should I stay at?

We have a group rate at the Hacienda del Mar, a 4-star resort 10 minutes from our house in Chileno Bay. Some may choose to stay at the Auberge resort within the Chileno Bay complex, a 5-star option 5 minutes from our house by golf cart. Another 5-star hotel others are staying at is Esperanza, a 15 minute drive from the house.

How should I get to and from the airport?

Please find a link to book airport transportation through Vivo on the "Travel" page. Uber is readily available and a great option for transportation EXCEPT to/from the airport. Another option is the taxi system, which can be a bit overwhelming upon arrival to SJD, but it works! You will need to pay in cash, it will probably be around $100. Lastly, resorts may offer airport shuttle service.

Is the weekend adults-only?

Yes, to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding.

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

We're honored you'll be joining us on our special day! To ensure we can accommodate everyone we've personally invited, we kindly ask that attendance be limited to those explicitly named on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Is Mexico safe?

YES! We have always felt extremely safe and cared for in Cabo. Use a regular amount of caution and awareness as when traveling anywhere. Our only issue has been pickpocketing at the airport or downtown, so keep your items close to you.

Should I exchange my USD for pesos at any time?

NO! You will be able to use credit card or USD everywhere (and the exchange kiosks are a rip-off)

What's the temperature in November?

It's typically still nice and toasty in Cabo in November after the heat wave in September-October. Please pack accordingly.

What time zone is Cabo in?

In November, Cabo is on Mountain Standard time (one hour ahead of Pacific time)
